Organic Semi-hard Cheese




Knuthenlund's Semi-hard Cheese is based on the good-quality sheep and goat's milk which comes from the estate's own herds of organic milking sheep and goats.

The cheeses are all produced according to traditional cheese-making methods. The cheeses are full of character with the taste of nature and good craftsmanship.

Knuthenlund No. 10

Knuthenlund No. 10 is produced from a mixture of sheep and goat's milk, as often seen in southern Europe. Sheep and goat's milk go extremely well together and give the cheese a very delicate flavour.

Knuthenlund No. 11

Knuthenlund No. 11 is made from pure goat's milk. The cheese is semi-hard with a quite unique flavour.

Knuthenlund No. 12

Knuthenlund No. 12 is made from pure sheep's milk. The cheese is semi-hard with a round and exquisite flavour.

Knuthenlund No. 14

Knuthenlund No. 14 is a hand-kneaded round cheese similar to Maribo. The cheese is made from a mixture of sheep and goat's milk and has a slightly salty, characterful flavour.
