Organic lamb

Lamb is a well-known delicacy. Lamb from Knuthenlund is extremely tender with a fine, mild flavour.

At Knuthenlund, we work to cultivate the taste of the meat from out in the fields to the finished product at the butcher's. Knuthenlund's lambs therefore graze the lush Lolland meadows surrounding Knuthenlund. These meadows have been sown with various herbs, which help to give the meat its special flavour.

To avoid stress hormones in the meat, all animals are slaughtered locally. Knuthenlund lamb is sold from Knuthenlund's dairy shop as well as at the organic butcher ‘Den Økologiske Slagter' on Kultorvet in Copenhagen K, at the supermarket Havnegade Super in Nakskov as well as at Dalgaard Supermarked in Hørsholm.
