Tradition and innovation

Knuthenlund was established in 1729 by the Count of Knuthenborg in connection with the closure of the village of Bregerup. In 1913, Knuthenborg decided to sell Knuthenlund to the dairyman J. P. H. Hansen, who had earned considerable sums from cheese production. Today, Knuthenlund is owned by Susanne Hovmand, who is the fourth generation of her family to live there.
